Elisabeth Reinisch
Elisabeth is a PhD researcher at ISEY. In a project co-funded by ESRC’s UBEL DTP and Procter & Gamble, Elisabeth will investigate patterns of parental sensitivity and contingency in caregiver-infant interactions, as well as develop machine learning algorithms to automate the analysis of wearables data.
Prior to her doctoral studies, she obtained a BSc in Psychological and Behavioural Science at LSE and an MSc in Child Development at UCL. For her dissertation, Elisabeth undertook a research placement in a London SEND primary school as part of a study investigating visio-motor integration, working memory and literacy skills in 5-7-year-old autistic children.
Just before joining UEL, Elisabeth spent a year teaching 11-to-18-year-olds German and French in London secondary schools during her PGCE at the IOE, where she obtained qualified teacher status (QTS).
